Every weekend the Dallas Arts District is alive with a variety of culture activites. This includes everything from concerts to outdoor festivals, to lectures, youth education programs, and free monthly strolls with Arts District Friends. Dallas Muesum of Arts Studio Creations Saturdays and Sundays, 1:00–3:30 p.m., Tower Studio (No Studio Creations November 24 & 25 and December 22–30)
Discover a new art-making activity each month! Join us in the Tower Studio, where volunteers are on hand to help your family make unique art projects. All materials provided.
December 1–16 Explore Indian jewelry found in the Museum’s permanent collection and in our special exhibitions. Afterwards, design your own wearable works of art inspired by the jewelry traditions of India.

Dallas Museum of Art Arturo's Art & Me Arturo’s Art & Me Tower Studio

November Dropping in on Grant Wood Learn about Grant Wood in this fun and informative animated video about his life, his heroes, and his regionalist artwork. (19 min., ages 5 and up)
December I Can Fly: Kids and Woman Artists in Their Studios This film features six prominent American artists—Faith Ringgold, Jackie Winsor, Flo Oy Wong, Grandma Moses, Jennifer Bartlett, and Elizabeth Catlett—working in their studios and exploring their feelings about their families, their medium, and their art.
